Scrolled across the top of the paper in my Mother’s beautiful cursive handwriting is a note which simply said:

“This will give you a laugh.”

She was right!

Ecclesiastes tells us there is a time to weep and a time to laugh. (3:4) I fear we don’t take enough time to enjoy the blessings that come with laughter. Here’s to the joy of doing it, and the need we have of harvesting it in our lives. A good clean healthy laugh is an elixir for the body and soul.
