From the moment I saw her, I thought she was so ‘in vogue.’ I asked God “If she’s the one,” might you give to me a sign. Give me concrete proof she forever could be mine.
Let me dream of her this very night when I go to sleep at nine. Then I’ll know for certain and with the outcome I’ll be fine. As I slumbered in the night, an angel stood in time; showing me the vision of a girl whose look was so divine. I knew her face and her smile; the night before we’d dined. I married her the very next month with a promise for all time. Now my wife of so many years; she’s even taken on my name. After all these years, I’ve come to learn that the angel of that night and the girl I married, were both one and the same.

Through the years most husbands learn that when God gives a guardian angel to each of us, he didn’t keep ours in the heavens. Instead He sent them to us in the form of a girl who would later become our wife. I am delighted that after almost 40 years of marriage, that my wife is still ‘in vogue.’
